ASA EVENTS IN PERU, BRAZIL AND COLUMBIA Following a successful event in Chile, Peru was the next stop. All three major TV channels plus all the key newspapers and media were present in Lima on October 17th for the next ASA Press Conference which was organised by Rosario Florez. The resulting coverage was amazing with Virgin Galactic making headline news on all of the Peruvian channels and being in every newspaper the following morning. From Peru to Columbia - Ana Mercedes-Soto and the team at Aviatur made the most of Carolyn's short visit to Bogota on October 20th and organized another Press Conference at Aviatur's office which was really well attended. Teresa Perez Tours & GSPTur based in São Paulo, Brazil, held an amazing event on the 14th & 15th of October and hired a VIP movie theatre for a champagne reception. The next morning Virgin Galactic held a small press event to jointly announce both Brazilian ASAs followed by another incredible event organized by GSPTur who hired an upmarket wine cellar where Virgin Galactic launched the Virgin Galactic concept to clients.
